PS’s knowledge of building laws and Government functioning have always accelerated plan sanctions. And, in my case, it ‘revived’ lapsed plans. Bringing tremendous benefit to me as a joint venture partner.

Since I was permanently residing in Delhi away from my ancestral property located on Sarat Bose Road, Kolkata, our building plan expired before the proposed building could come up.

In the meanwhile, as my construction entitlement (FAR) had reduced drastically, I was likely to lose a lot of money as well as lose on the value of my property if I had to seek permission for a new sanction. In desperation, I approached several developers and architects to get my plan renewed but nobody seemed to be able to help.

PS was the only developer that not only came up with a solution and got my lapsed plan renewed, but also completed our 10-storied building in a record 15 months.

The quality of PS’ construction and finishing was excellent and it completed the project well ahead of schedule.

I was 32 and newly married when I liquidated my shares and bought a 1600 square feet apartment at Windsor Manor promoted by PS.

Understandably, after paying for this acquisition, I had nothing left.

But before PS delivered the apartment, a friend told us that her grandfather was vacating an apartment across Rabindra Sarobar.

When an environment-protection booklet was published by PS and released by His Excellency, the Governor of West Bengal, on World Environment Day, the attempt was appreciated by all. 

The booklet was simply written, reader-friendly, relevantly illustrated and comprised a number of simple tips on how each individual could prevent environment degradation.  

If there are more such instances and publications, we will be able to make this part of the world a better place to live in.

The failure of one apartment owner to respect fire and safety norms could well endanger the safety of several others. 

In view of this, a booklet on fire safety and protection released by Sri Pratim Chatterjee, Minister of State In Charge, Department of Fire and Emergency Services, State of West Bengal, during the Fire Awareness Week, came not a day too soon.

The book, published by PS, has emerged as a ready reckoner among most builders and I recommend that all houseowners read it as well. 

What really surprised me was that PS also made the booklet available in Hindi and Bengali, in addition to English!
